The Dia de Muertos Tarot Priestess art print represents intuition, hidden knowledge, and the spiritual world.
I am currently working on a Dia de Muertos themed tarot deck. The Priestess card tells us to trust our intuition and also to wait and respond to situations instead of provoking responses. She stands between two pillars representing the beginning and end (written in Tagalog as “umpisa” and “tapos”), reminding us that change is constant and it happens regardless of how we feel.
I’ve drawn the Priestess here as an Aztec priestess. Several interpretations of this card have called the priestess as a passive figure. My version isn’t passive. I like the idea of a strong woman who can take care of business when it comes. She doesnt go around poking bears with sticks, but if a bear comes for her, she’ll handle it. .
This Dia de Muertos Tarot Priestess art print is available as a 5″x7″ or 8″x10″ print, with or without a decorative frame. Be sure to pick which one you’d like.
